Daniel Guéguen, faculty member of the new Executive M.B.L.-HSG module ‘Law & Lobbying’, founder and chairman of PACT European Affairs and vice-president of Europolitics, published his new book ‚Reshaping European Lobbying‘.
With the Lisbon Treaty and new institutional practices, EU lobbying is becoming more complex, more opaque, more ad hoc and more legal. Every file has its own ‘institutional setting’. The Community method is being replaced by an intergovernmental approach. Most decisions are taken behind closed doors, with lobbyists excluded.
